Teletrol Announces Record Sales Performance
Increased Momentum Boosted by Open EMS for Multi-site Retail Customers
Manchester, New Hampshire (May 15, 2024) - Teletrol Systems Inc., the leading provider of IT-friendly energy management systems, today announced that it has achieved record-breaking sales in the first four months of 2009. Compared to the same period last year, it increased its year-to-date revenue by over 100%. Teletrol reports that the growth has been driven by new multi-site retail customers and decisions to accelerate installations of Teletrol’s energy management solutions to reap operational savings faster.
This first quarter of 2009 was Teletrol’s largest ever with respect to sales revenues and deployments -- and the third consecutive quarter of revenue growth. Over the last three quarters Teletrol has achieved significant increases in all key corporate performance measures, including the number of new clients added, production systems deployed, support and quality metrics. There has also been a 60% reduction in inbound support requests despite a dramatic increase in new deployments.
“We are very pleased with our corporate performance over the past year,” said Greg Brewer, Vice President of Retail Business for Teletrol Systems, Inc. We are fortunate to have a solution that is well suited for progressive retailers in the current economic climate where they are looking to make investments that will bring short-term benefits and a significant long-term payoff.” Mr. Brewer added, “While saving money on energy costs is a compelling motivation for investing in an energy management system, retailers are seeing the long-term benefits of automated EMS, including; streamlining their store operations and integrating energy data into an enterprise-wide information system.”
Andy McMillan, CEO of Teletrol Systems, Inc. added his perspective on the record-breaking performance, “Many of our retail customers have been using a variety of energy-saving techniques and products for years in their individual stores. Teletrol’s open energy management system brings a new and different approach to customers, where they now have the ability to connect these devices and pull all of this data together into a unified view. This is just the beginning of open EMS, and in the future, you will continue to see valuable energy-related products, services, and vendors leveraging this platform.” McMillan also added this comment on company performance, “Our track record of proven success coupled with new products and partners has set the stage for strong, sustained growth in 2009 and beyond."
